Boundaries used to sound like a word from another language to me. I didn’t get it. Saying no felt like it wasn’t an option. I felt like I was along for the ride in life. Now I’m starting to get it. Things I ask myself:
Turning back time might lead to another decision. But chances are there would have been a similar outcome or situation at some point. I know how painful looking back can feel, but you are stronger and better now. You might not like who you would have become with that change in timeline. Know that you are always headed to where you need to be. Love and compassion always ❤️
